New Adventures

I'm going to keep a chronicle of this job search.  I've done a lot of job hunting over the years, but this is the new millennium and new tactics are in order.  There are hundreds of jobs open in the Bay Area, but the traditional send-my-resume-to-the-web-site simply isn't enough anymore.  What does it take to get a job in this economy with a solid background, but jagged work record over the past 5 years (solid job for the past year, but entrepreneur for a few years before that).  As an aside, does anyone really know how to spell entrepreneur?  TG for spell check!

So armed with a Bay Area presence, I start the search!

When you leave college, there are thousands of people out there with the same degree you have; when you get a job, there will be thousands of people doing what you want to do for a living. But you are the only person alive who has sole custody of your life. – Anna Quindlen, (1952- ) Author, Pulitzer Prize-Winning Journalist
